Spring is here and its time to put the hot oats away. This morning I started the day with a glass of Lemon Tang followed by a Low Glycaemic USANA Chocolate Shake. The shakes can have water added or a combination of water and milk or an alternative milk product. I rather like half water and half Coconut Milk or Almond Milk. There is already 15 grams of protein in the shake derived from whey and soy protein. Another option is to add half a banana, pre-soaked chia seeds, sunflower seeds and linseeds and almonds plus berries.
